The museum itself is actually comprised of five different collections: the original Fruitlands Farmhouse, a Shaker Museum (the first one in the country), the Native American Museum, the Wayside Visitor Center, and the Art Museum. With so much to explore it’s easy to spend an entire day here learning about Harvard’s historic roots.
Yet another Harvard, MA, staple is our historic Harvard General Store located in the heart of Harvard. Along with its charming, historically preserved ambiance of generations past, you’ll enjoy delicious made to order breakfast, lunch, dinner, coffee, pastries, and an array of other provisions. During select hours you can even enjoy a fresh pie from the HGS Pizza Parlor! A day in Harvard isn’t complete without a made-to-order meal from this local spot. Thursday night from 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. is our favorite night to go for Live! @ The General to enjoy live entertainment, trivia, open mic night and live local music.

The result was nothing short of perfect. The staff is competent, courteous, pleasant, and considerate. The work was done in a timely fashion and to the highest quality standards. I couldn’t recommend them enough.
